Machine Hourly Rate
Machine Hourly Rate
Determines the cost of a machine hour from acquisition, interest, floor space, energy, and maintenance.
How to use the result
The machine hourly rate excludes personnel costs. For costing, add the operator labour rate proportionally, with a lower share for multi-machine operation.
Productive hours have the greatest influence. Use actual values from production data collection rather than theoretical shift time.
