Use CNC calculators through an API or MCP
Use the public CNC calculators from your own applications or a compatible assistant. Tool definitions, units and help explain the inputs needed for each calculation.
Start with the tool catalogue
The public catalogue at /api/tools contains tool IDs and definitions. A request to /api/tools/{id} describes one tool. POST /api/tools/{id}/calculate accepts values in the inputs field and returns the calculated result.
Provide units and values explicitly
Supply values in the units specified by the definition. Invalid or missing required values must remain visible in the calling workflow. A successful calculation confirms the formula for those inputs, not the correctness of a drawing or a business price.
Check integration with your workflow
Public interfaces calculate the values supplied. This does not promise a ready-made connector for a particular ERP system. Private quotes, files and business data require the designated authenticated Pro access.
Frequently asked questions
Do the web app and API use different calculations?
The public tools use the same validated inputs and calculation rules. Identical inputs should produce the same calculated result.
Does every calculation include a paid AI analysis?
No. Public calculators run without an AI call. Drawing analysis is a separate, explicitly requested Pro workflow.
