Inspection costs
Free inspection cost calculator
Calculates inspection time and costs from sample size, preparation and documentation.
How to use the result
Defaults are a worked example. Use your own measured times and cost rates.
This calculator does not define a sampling plan or estimate acceptance probabilities. Use the inspection scope agreed in your drawing, inspection plan and customer requirements.
Include first-article inspection either in one-off preparation or in the inspected quantity. Do not count inspection already included in machining time twice.
