CNC Kalkulator

Free quotation assistant

Calculate your manufacturing quote step by step – as a conversation with the quote bot or as a form. Every entry is explained; unit costs, overheads and the total of all lines are calculated automatically.

Up to 20 items with material, production times, hourly rates and commercial terms. Uses your inputs, without registration.

Parts & material

Start with the quantity and purchased stock. Material cost per part includes cutting and waste. Use the material cost calculator if needed.

Item 1
Unique item description used in the calculation.
For example round bar Ø 40 × 65 mm. Check allowances and waste in the entered material cost.
For example supplier quote, actual past cost, CAM or your estimate with a date. Identifies values that still need review.
Number of parts produced with one setup and programming effort. Larger batches reduce the one-off cost per part.
Purchase price of the stock including cutting and waste per part, from the material calculator or supplier invoice.

Production & time

Enter times and additional costs. Machining, handling and manual work are per part. Setup and programming occur once per batch. Do not count external processing or inspection twice.

Item 1
Time during which the machine cuts, from a machining-time calculation or CAM simulation.
Loading, clamping, measuring, tool changes, and chip removal while the machine and operator are occupied.
Manual deburring, cleaning, marking, and packaging away from the machine, charged at labour rate only.
Time to set up the machine, workholding, datum, tools, and first-part inspection.
CAM programming, simulation, and documentation for this batch. Set to zero for a repeat part with an existing program.
Only when the part is made on two machines, for example turning first and milling afterwards: cost of the second machine excluding labour. Empty means one machine; machining, setup and programming time above then apply to that one machine, also for complete machining on a turn-mill machine.
Cutting time on the second machine, for example milling after turning. Valued at its rate plus the operator share of the labour rate.
Loading, clamping and measuring on the second machine while machine and operator are occupied.
Setup of the second machine for this batch, stated by your workshop (0 if none). Valued at the second machine's rate plus the labour rate.
Own program for the second machine, stated by your workshop (0 for an existing program). Valued at the programming rate.
Wear of cutters, drills, and inserts per part.
Gauges, inspection reports, and certificates per part unless already included in auxiliary time.
Purchased operations such as heat treatment, anodizing, or grinding per part, including freight.
Optional: the supplier's smallest invoice per order, for example a minimum heat-treatment lot. If external service per part times produced quantity is lower, the difference is charged once per batch. Empty means no minimum.

Rates & overhead

Use your company rates. Machine rate excludes labour, which is added using the labour rate and operator share. Only add overhead that is not already included.

Item 1
Share of parts that do not pass. They still consumed material and machine time, so their costs are allocated to good parts.
Surcharge for purchasing, storage, and material handling.
REFA allowance on machining and auxiliary time for interruptions, personal time, and recovery.
Machine cost excluding labour, for example from the machine-hourly-rate calculator.
Cost of one productive operator hour, for example from the labour-hourly-rate calculator.
Share of machining time for which the operator is occupied.
Hourly cost of the programmer or process planner.
Administration and sales overhead as a surcharge on manufacturing cost.

Price & scenarios

Set risk, profit, discounts, freight and tax. Discounts are allowed for in the list price. Quantity scenarios keep one-off costs constant.

Allowance on the calculated full cost of all items, before profit and discounts. Does not replace missing costs or unknown times.
Profit rate applied to the calculation.
Markup relates profit to full cost; margin relates profit to selling price.
Deduction from the target price that must be allowed for in pricing.
Share of the target price.
Discount on list price.
Pass-through item after price discounts.
Tax rate for this invoice.
Optional: 2 doubles all quantities. Material and cycle times per part stay constant; setup and programming stay constant per batch. Does not apply supplier volume discounts.

Result & review

Review your inputs and calculate the quote. Dependent amounts and the total are calculated from your inputs. Return to earlier steps to edit them.

Blank means unknown. Enter 0 only when that cost or time does not apply. Estimates remain estimates and require review before a binding quote.

Check material, stock allowances, tolerances, all operations, time evidence and supplier prices. This calculation does not verify manufacturability or replace technical approval.

Every cost and time field needs a value. Missing values never become 0 automatically.
